Would anyone have a part # for some black handlebars that would be the same or close to the oem bars for 350lc ?

I bought that handlebar with the superceded number. 80 bux Canadian at Yamaha. Not cheap but it looks decent quality. No holes in the ends for bar ends but the LC grips cover the ends anyway.

Sorry for dragging up and old thread, but I'm wondering what folks have used for alternative bars. I'm in need of new bars (current bars are a little tweaked... not by me ;-)). I ordered the Yamaha bars, but not happy with them. They've got a little too much rise, and alot too much pull back for my taste... too cruiser/chopper'ish. Also just a little too black... the bike is mostly black with chrome on the headlight bezel, rear grab bar, and currently, handle bars. I'd like to stick with chrome or at least bright bars.

Looking through the Parts Canada catologues, just about everything is too high, or too wide, or too much pull back. Or it's broom-stick straight. I'm starting to look at MX bars. Something like a CR-Lo bend... about 2 1/2" rise and 2 3/4" or 3" pullback. Anyone else gone down this route? Thoughts or suggestions?

I might be interested in your old bars if theyre still close on new looking?

I have MX bars on my 421 LC, theyre really wide and much flatter than the OEMs. I like em, but not everyone does.

That's the trouble with MX bars as in being bloody wide !
I ended up using renthal bars meant for a kiddies 80cc MX bike , you can just get the switchgear and brake/clutch clamps before the bend starts !

I'll have to compare the bars on the RD with the MX bars on my DR. They feel quite similar in width. I may have cut down the MX bars when I got them.

So I'm having second thoughts about the MX bars. I've been thru the catalogues my Yamaha guy uses (Parts Canada) and can't find what I want. I've asked for some help, which he's usually good about, but this time can't be bothered. Maybe someone here can help... I'm looking for a 'tracker' or 'drag' style bar, 7/8" diameter, with 2-3" total rise, and 2-3" total pullback. In one of his catalogues Builtwell has a 1" version, but nothing in 7/8". Anyone have another source I can try?

You did Jon! Sorry I missed that! I also did manage to find a Biltwell tracker bar in 7/8" Waiting on a price now.

So I've got the 55K bars now that I won't be using. Anyone interested? Jon? Paint is marked up around the clamps now, but the rest is un-touched. I'll get some pics tonight!
