motor seal kit ?

does Yamaha do a complete seal kit for the LC motors or is it a piece by piece sort of deal. ?
also would the RZ seal kit be the same or are there different seals for the later model motor?
i have seen a kit on ebay but not OEM.

Gawd I wish John SS was here....
RZ seals in RD motor...pretty sure cranks seals same,g/box output shaft,gear select shaft & kick starter would be same.
Ive gone through ebay seller bob_yp.Bought my rz seal sets through him,Im sure if you ask him he can put together an RD one for you.
Failing that I have an Yamaha oem RDLC full seal kit from 1986 lol.Cost me 17 bucks I think...
Im sure CMSL,Boats etc will be able to supply seals separately & Im damn sure John would tell you to stay away from Yambits seals too...

i looked at boats and they have the crank seals but i will have to chase up the other part numbers and check .
i will make some enquires to rz unlimited etc and see if anyone has a kit.

PJME (Engineering) in the UK list all the seals you are looking for including genuine Yamaha.
We bought a set of yambits seals for a rd400c last year with disappointing results.
The clutch side crankcase seal failed in 300klms!
Genuine by choice from now on.

ordered all the seals from partzilla.
$45 for 6 seals .

Assume that did not include the crank or water pump seals.

i think i got the water pump seal too.

Those seals would cost £58 in the UK ($90ish)

For future reference,Norbo does stock all LC gearbox bearings & oil seals....

Musing.... Bearings are the same in the LC as the RZ arent they? If so Partzilla/Boats/Ron Ayres etc etc would be cheap again for those...
