MotoGP crash damage costs?

MotoGP crash damage costs?

Riders can fall up to five times in a weekend and the crash bill must be enormous?
I tried to Google any info and can only find the cost of leasing a motoGP bike at around $2millionUS per customer bike.
But nothing on crash damage.

So I looked up the parts costing of Hondas rc213v street bike to get some sort of idea of what that cost?

They have a part number for the fairing but no price. All in US dollars.
Fairing bracket $1400
Forks Ohlins $8560 per leg.
Frame $23,306
Swingarm $12,300
Exhaust $15,500
Front mudguard $1570
Rear Wheel $6300
Front Wheel $4500
Front discs $970 ea
Front axle $965
Fuel tank and cover $9000
Clip on’s $1400 ea
Front Brake Master cyl $668
Clutch Master cyl $1265
Radiator $665 (this seems Cheap?)
This is nearly $100,000 and there can be so many other bits!!
And so on!
This is for the road bike version so there is no doubt that the hand made motoGP stuff costs way more than this.
Yikes!!!!!! :smt010

Just the front forks for a MOTO GP factory machine cost $100,000 US dollars. And that does not include upper or lower triples, wheel, brakes etc... Prices for other components can be expected to carry such premiums as well.

Price of complete prepped machine is around 2.5 million dollars per bike.

All parts are custom made in very small numbers for the season and allowable development. Very few if any parts carry over to any roadbike, however with the exception of Hondas new race replica, they claim some parts are the same, but i still doubt it its sales marketing. Honda has had such sucsess with their racebike design, its easy to see why they are the only manufacture to produce a "road" bike that is a true replica with alot of trickle down.

When Karel was on the Honda customer bike we roughly priced out the front brake system complete and it was in the neighbourhood of $25,000.
