If you dont want to know the result of Argentina, best stop reading.
As soon as I saw Crazy Joe closing in hard in the 2nd to the last corner, I said to myself...he just might take him out..and look at what happened. ..lol. He also rammed Marquez on the start damaged his bike, Can't beleive Marc didn't crash.
Rossi & Pedrosa were silly with joy, I don't know who was happier, but Pedrosa finished on the podium after falling to 16th position on the start. I haven't rewatched it yet, but they say Dovi was giving Iannone the finger while still sliding across the grass....classic! El Presidente Rossi's post race wheel standing "Nac Nac" was fun to watch, the peoples rider, no doubt about it! https://youtu.be/KzP5vxoFbqE" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

That was an awesome race that went kinda disappointing in the middle and then pulled out a surprise ending. It had something for everyone.

Funnily enough, on the last lap as we were watching Rossi settling for 4th, I turned to my wife and said, "I bet Iannone takes out both Ducatis." The very next shot was the two Ducs sliding across the pavement. :)

Rossi thought his birthday had come early.

Pedrosa was the most annoyed looking 3rd place I have ever seen. The guy was totally bummed to have gotten on the podium.

Not a very exciting race at COTA this week end, couple of crashes, I feel sorry for Dovi and Pedrosa. The little puke Lorenzo proved again that unless he is up front with perfect conditions and unchallenged he is unworthy of being champion. Marquez was just going for a Sunday afternoon ride or so it seemed.

Yep, pretty much a parade, The track must gave been secretly designed by Honda...lol. Marquez is without doubt the fastest rider in Moto GP, I suspect he will " without a career ending injury" at some point in the future surpass Rossi's championship record, as they seem to truly unequivocally hate each other, it's worse than Biaggi and Rossi ever was, by far. Pretty much the same show as the last few years. Watch the same top 5 and the token Cal Cructhlow crash per race...lol.

What was funny was Moto America...the grid was 95% Anerican, and Tony Elias steps in for a injured Yohimura rider, and he just wipes the floor with the best America has to offer, easily winning on his 1st try...lol The podium said it all, nothing could be worse for a American rider than to lose in Texas...Josh Hayes was embarrassed and Roger Hayden thought he was going to win easily...uh oh! Reality check...Don't undetestimate a Moto 2 champion as the 600cc bikes are as fast as Superbikes.
The Spaniards no doubt have a lock on this generation of riders, no doubt about it.

True, it may be years. It may be never. The U.S. Will be hard pressed to find that kind of talent again.
Not that anyone cares, even though some media outlets are promoting. With the level of electronics on everything where does one start ?

Lets not forget Elias has raced and won in MotoGP. He is literally head & shoulders above any current US SBK competitors.

The Spaniards no doubt have a lock on this generation of riders, no doubt about it.
Yes, a result of their excellent CEV championship that breeds champions. The US has a half baked SBK series with no serious competition at the moment.

aparently they have lost their key of that lock, as the last spanish winner in Moto3 was at Sepang 2014 ..., that's 18 months :smt002
if it runs, you can race it !

The global financial
meltdown just decimated motorcycle racing here, of course the biggest reason was DMG , in just a couple of years they erased a 50 year tradition of great entertainment in the U.S. The U.S. was far & away the place to be for the AMA, the level of machinery was unequaled, the riders earned a great living. It all went to hell in a hand basket real quick, after Mladin won his last championship and Spies left for WBSK, that was it ..over.

Riders are paying teams now to ride, when just a few short years earlier Matt Mladin is rumored to pulled down close to 4 million a year( just in base salary! )his last three years in AMA. Hopefully something can come of the new organization, can't get much worse.

France was probably the most boring race I've seen in the last 2 years, could have shaped up well if Marquez and Dovi hadn't gone off roading. I watched that several times in slo-mo, unbelievable how the lost traction on the front at pretty much exactly the same time, others were taking that line without issue. On a positive note it closed up the points standings for the championship. Nice to see Suzuki and Vinales on the podium even if it was through attrition, a win is a win.

From what I have read it is a front tire issue. Not enough warning before they let go. They seem to have an acceptable rear now so maybe they can fix the front. I have not been able to watch a live race since the first one due to the new TV deal but they have been mostly dull anyway. I have been enjoying Honda's self inflicted pain. Last year they screwed up their chassis which they eventually fixed by going back to their 2014 frame. This year they built a reverse crank engine and it doesn't seem to work. It will be interesting to see how the FIM lets them fix it with the supposed freeze on engine development.

Well, that was just an amazing race at Mugello that I didn't get to see.#ck the money grubbing fim for selling the TV rights to a soccer network that most US fans don't receive.

I guess it is just the principle of it. BeIN probably paid good money for the rights to show motogp without having a clue what it is. So the fim has their money. Now if I want to see the races I have to pay them more? I am a capitalist but greed gives capitalism a bad name.
Heck of a race though, three lead changes on the last lap and the announcer gave the win to Marquez each time he passed but Lorenzo nipped by at the finish. I watched it on dailymotion and was seeing about every hundredth frame the last few laps.Iannone didn't even crash Dovisioso. Sorry about the spoiler but no one on here seems interested.
