My almost finished RD350LC
So close to being done but holy hell the final stretch is taking forever!!!
I had never restored a bike like this before. I stripped it down to every last bolt and throw myself completely into it. I will post more photos next week of the finshec product. I got cylinder porting done at Wilson performance, tons of parts from RZ Unlimeted, and yambits over seas. Powder coated most of it and wet sanded the clear coat. This is alot more work then it seems at the start. But it has been a labour of love I guess!

nice work.... how long to this stage ????
restoring a bike is very rewarding... i ride my bike just about every week... it is always an enjoyable ride....
it costs me $15 for fuel and $10 for lunch and i think thats good value for half a day with the love of your life
thats what my wife calls my bikes....

This has taken me around seven months I guess. It would have been less but I had to replace alot of stuff. The tank was the worst rusted thing I had ever seen! So I had to search for a new one of those and the carbs were so rotted that they were garbage too. So most of the time was spent waiting for parts.
