Just like to check with you guys.
Inlet clearances on this bike are ·15mm. Now before i pulled the bike apart inlet valve clearance was zero. The shims that i pulled from bike are 1.9mm. Now i subtract ·15 from 1.9 =1.75 sized shim.
Is this correct way of working out clearances (not my numerical skills lol)
Anyone help with this?

Well after an epic workout on this bike, lots of problems but its been great fun repairing them all.Biggest problem was po didnt drain the carb, had water in it & corrosion set in from the brass parts.Epic clean out job!
Just got it running! Not a 2 stroker, but a bike at least.Bolting up everything now for a lil test ride :smt003
Now,where on earth is that helmet?
