This is an exciting time for you, the power rush sounds incredible. Keep 'em coming.... especially when you can really open up. A tach and temp would be nice to have as well.

@ Aaron - I couldn't get my tach to quit squeeling so I threw the Vapor on. Might do away with the "Beanpod", not sure yet. I also hooked up the temp sender. Its between the pump & the radiator. Not the best but I run both the stock temp gauge & Vapor the last month before the motor swap. I feel comfortable with the Vapor reading 145F - 155F. I'm runnin the stock radiator with no fan at the moment. I just ride it out in the stix (aint hard here). If its in the 80s (F) i have no problems. Heck I take it to work. 12 miles each way, there is 1 red light.
As for the sputterin, it could be. I know you cant see the tach in the video, but between about 5k & 6k there is a flat spot (just before it starts to come on pipe). I need to take the bike to a tuner. Haven't found one yet but my $$ has dried up for the moment . Next thing on my list is Roger's intake then a radiator. Crossbar is giving me fits with the throttle cables.
@ Steveloomis - Yea, I want to get on it and ride like hell everytime I throw a leg over her.. I aint had a speedin ticket in over 3 years. The missus gave me hell about the last one..I got a feeling I'm about due for another....
@ Jonw - I hope when you and Aaron get finished you two put some vids up. Both of you have gorgeous bikes! Mine are a little cosmetically challenged but if they run good I am pretty happy

Not at all Aaron, thanks for the feedback... Well one of my carb adjusters is broke... Hopefully I'll be getting a Wicked Intake real soon. Crossbar & clutch arm really are a pain on these things... Hope to be having a wheelie good time soonaaronmvrider

Re: Just got an 84 RZ350
The weather was nice today, worked on my bike and took it for a short ride. had the right side exhaust off and took a few pics thru the exhaust port. I was surprised how clean it was. I was expecting to see some build up on the skirt or cylinder wall, but there was nothing. Bike runs good, haven't taken compression reading in a while but I think it was around 145-150lbs last time I checked. Getting ready for ridin' season.
Side of piston and rings, this is after 1500 miles.
