WICKED'S 1979 DAYTONA SPECIAL RD400 WITH (SOUND & VIDEO)

#1 Post by wicked motorsports » Sun Nov 06, 2011 1:43 am

Hey Guy's I've been M.I.A for a while and i decided to take a minute from life and enjoy the pay off after all the hard work. Been just Slammed....! with Everything coming from all corners of the world! I've been trying to keep up with the News on here and holy cow! The gossip is crazier than Kim Karsdashians wedding bust! lol... So i figure enough of just reading and i needed to get back in splattering you guy's with boring pics of what we got going on over here lol!

So I decided to take a break and Ride a real cool bike My 1979 Daytona! I was turing heads by the beach lol... Had couple of old farts in Ferrari's throw up the thmbs up :smt023 One guy in a 2001-2006? M3 pulled up chaising me down I thought the Sun of a gun was going to run me over hahaha! He just wanted to hear the bike running and snap a pic of me and the bike with his phone. When he left he took off the traction control and lit up the M3's Tires. Lol part he almost lost it trying to merge on to PCH highway hahaha!

Well anyway's totally made my day to get back on the Old gal! So here are some pics of my Daytona and our Wicked Motorsports HP Pipes intakes and other goodies. http://www.wickedatv.com

I snap this of her when I went to the bank. She was looking super sharp!

The new seat cover felt and look Killer! Thanks to Radi's upholstery!
got up the hill in Laguna Beach to snap these pics was a awesome day to look at the ocean behind.

and sporting the proper head gear to ride this old gal! Flip up bill and old half dome helmet From biltwell helmets had my neighbor shoot it to match the Daytona. Killer fitting helmet for the vintage look.

It was such a good ride! Had some old guy's on couple of them KTM Mo-turds riding up ahead when i merge on the connection Highway. My cruising speed was right between 85-95mph @6500-7000RPM I'd hit 100 on some spots for shits and giggles. Which on this little bike... you don't want to be caught going under 75mph on these highways. You'll end up underneath some truck lol... She Was just screaming music! I came up next these guy's one handed passing them at about 90mph and kept going. after about a mile they caught up lol! I thought the guy was going to crash his bikes from shaking his fist so hard with a Thumbs up!:smt023 It was super cool! Gave them the peace sign down shifted her and blasted off to the connecting 22freeway from the 55 freeway. Headed back to wicked to put her away before i got my self in trouble lol!! good times for sure! We all need to have a RD 400 to really realize how not easy it is to ride one on these crazy ass roads lol... as well how much more difficult it is to ride a Air-cooled 2-stroke with out melting her down. Takes patience... and a lot of listening and talking to them on the road. Just like a New Smoking hot chick on the 1st date. who cares what they say as long as you don't piss them off and they let you ride them hahahah! "Yes I talk to all my bikes" hahaha!
