Iron's RZ Upgrades.

#1 Post by iron » Tue Oct 04, 2011 9:23 pm

I have been working on the RZ for a while now. Some of the upgrades include a Zeel PCDI-10V, R6 cooling fan, new fuse box, new dark windscreen, P-Coated Pipes. Still want and or need the Fork Brace and the Stabilizer when I get to it. Hope you like it.

If someone could post a close up of their steering stabilizer that would be great.

WOW! Hard to find anything out of place there. Fantastic job Iron. That has to be the best looking KR bike I've seen in a very long time. I'm jealous.

A stunner!! And yes, he does ride and beat on that thing as I can vouch riding with him over the past few years. Ya'll would be proud of how we ride our RZs as intended and designed!! :smt007 :smt004

Do you have any detail on mounting up the fan?

Did you make brackets or poke thru the fins of the rad?

Photos of the fan mounting???

Thanks.

No I don't but I think It was wicked who first posted the upgrade. You may be able to seardh the post.

To fasten the fan you need to purchase a kit from auto parts store. It is a kit to fasten a transmission cooler. Basically zip ties with a couple of rubber pads.

Very easy project.

Thanks everyone for the nice replys. :smt006
