My project

#1 Post by jjenn » Sat Oct 01, 2011 6:51 pm

Hello, my name is John.
I have been lurking here for some time and figured I'd try and post pics of my RZ.
Here are a few pictures of my project. I bought it in boxes and buckets.
I had Andrew Meeks from Grand River Racing build the engine, it's ported 4mm stroker. The pipes are Factory Products for now.
I have an R1 front end and an FZ swingarm.
It's coming along pretty good, these pics were from this time last year. I'll get new pics when I finish moving.
Hope to start it up next month.
Thanks for all your help, this is a great forum.
Hope these pics show up.....

The center of the tank is painted black, the stripe on the edge is a decal kit.
The front wheel is the R1 wheel, the back is a Katana wheel that I bought from (if I remember right) S10RZ350 here on the forum.

Lookin good John. Is Grand River Racing in the Kit/Wloo Area? I am originally from Cambridge, ON. The rear wheel is found on the Katana as well as the SV650 and the early bandit 600. Nice work.
