A few weeks ago, I felt like doing something different.
So, I pulled it out, cleaned it off, and showed it to the wife.
When she saw it she said, "Why does it look so big? Was it always like that?".
I assured her that it was exactly the same as the last time she saw it.
Naturally, she was referring to my stock RZ.
And comparing it to the project bike that I've been riding most of the Summer.
She may have a point. That is a pretty good sized piece of plastic hanging off the front of the stock bike.
After riding the project bike, with the clip-on bars, cut down seat, and tiny gauge package,
and then getting on the stock bike, with the tall bars, high seat and large fairing,
I did notice a bit of a difference.
The stock bike feels really big. I mean freakin huge.

Re: New pics of my old bikes
Compared to my other RZ's, it's big, it's heavy, it's slow, and it's really, really, really quite.
It's a pretty nice, bone stock bike, and it's in good shape, but its a bit tame compared to the modified bikes.
Still, it's a lot of fun to ride, so I put 50 miles on it yesterday, and another 50 miles on it today.
I'll probably put another 50 miles on it again tomorrow, just to use up most of the gas in the tank.
Then I'll put it back in the heated garage, and park it until next summer.
Don't want to mile it out.
The plan for this bike is that in 20 years, it will look the same, and will be a 50 year old bike, with less than 12k miles.

Re: New pics of my old bikes
You best get that thing back into the garage before the cold weather hits or you might get some shrinkage.

Well at least that pic would explain why you didn't come riding today. :(
We put over 330 kms on the bikes today.
