Mate the Pipes, I dont Get the TTS term? I thought the term is TRUSA and on the pipes the graphic is TR short for Tommy Racing. At any rate mate picked it up cause thats how close I read and pay attention and interest in the greatwork you produce. Kind regards.
I must be going mad mate! Don't know where I got TTS from (perhaps reminiscing about castrol days of old?). You are indeed correct, it's TR, but I had to go out to the garage and double check, looks like TTS at a glance.... :smt003

I don't think it's the same bike Aaron, just same colour scheme, not even sure if that RGV that Old Gold posted has even arrived in Aus yet.mmost of their two stroke stuff sells before it lands in Aus.

Almost forgot to mention that Old Gold Motorcycles has 2 x RZ250's coming in next month. One looks to be a very nice and original '83 / '84 with the bikini fairing and the other is a rough RZ-R naked that they make break.

Here's the link to a few pics on their FaceBook page -

Thought maybe someone here might be interested and stop me from looking at them.... :smt003

All good mate, Im the first to stand up and say I dont pay much attention to grammer, the hardest thing I found at shchool was third grade, I just wanted to bring it to your attention cause I thought it a bit odd. PS that Old Gold site is a trap for old players, I know what my child care payments are going to in future, only a year to go.

Was that an original paint scheme,
I've never seen that before, I like it.
And if the spare coin was lying around I'dve bought that.

Old Gold MC's has a couple of new pics and a video of that nice RZ250 running. They're saying it's pretty much mint and only has 11,000 Km's on it, asking for offers over $4k.

Cheers, Richard

Ummm.... Not quite sure how this happened (actually I know exactly how it happened but I'm in denial). Not strictly an RZ but it has RZ in the model letters and it's the final iteration of the YPVS twin. I've always liked these and therefore wanted one and this one came up during a particular time of weakness (which is pretty much all the time around bikes of the '80's and '90's). :smt007

I've always thought I'd like to modify a Late model RZ250 with more modern wheels and suspension etc. (and 350 barrels etc.) but I love the trellis style frame on these R1-Z 250's and this one comes with wider wheels already fitted, sugo or Jackal pipes (I don't know which) and some nice rear sets etc. and it's in good nick so I couldn't resist (honestly wife... :smt021).

It doesn't get delivered until late Jan but did the deal today so rather excited and wanted to share!

Merry Xmas to all.
