Yellow and Black RZ's RZ. (S10RZ350)

#1 Post by Yellow and Black RZ » Thu Jan 03, 2008 5:04 pm

Here's a bunch of mine. No particular order and at various stages of development.

Purchased in the early 90's. Second owner, only motorcycle I've ever owned. When I was 10 (1985) I saw my bike in the parking lot of what eventually was my High school. Jump to 10 years later, I bought the bike STOCK with 12,800 miles for $1000. It now has anywhere from 30-40,000 miles on "it".
I totaled the bike in Hollywood Ca. due to a left turning cager. The bike is now on its 4th rebuild (2 stock, 1 mid 90's gsxr susp, 1-'06 susp (current)).

Ya man ... my favorite non-faired bike. I've got a line on some '06-'07 GSXR600 (or 750 ... they're the same) wheels too. We'll have twins damn near.

Have you arrived at an accurate offset number for the front sprocket yet?

PS: Where's my USD's? :-) (shipping address revised)

edit: Do you have a scale there? What does the complete GSXR rear wheel (with tire and cush hub) weigh compared to the stock rear wheel similarly equipped? 'Zuk front too if you take it off relatively soon.
1) 1984 Yam RZ350 w/ Spec II chambers, Zeeltronic, and K&N pods ... stock otherwise
2) 1984 Yam RZ350 awaiting '06 GSXR600 USD front, FZR400RR rear, & rev cyl's

Sorry Xen. With the holidays and family etc.. I spoke to soon about getting that out to you. I'll get you your FE in the mail next week.

I haven't really been in the project much lately. Unfortunately I also picked up an R/C heli recently. Lets see how many other ways I can come up with to suck up cash. lol.

hi, Thanks.

With the Microns.. Tons of bottom end. Wish I put it on the dyno.
With Lomas it was pretty damn quick but I'm sure something was missing since they are a top end pipe.
