First Ride

Finally did my first ride of the year. Took the big girl out to stretch her legs. Lots of fun. Almost ran over a bear. Just the usual stuff.

That is right outside my door. Miles and miles and miles of it. You can go for hours here on quiet roads like that.

I did my first 2 stroke ride of the year today. Put 100 km on the 500. Lots of fun, but this wonky ankle makes shifting a real bitch. I had hoped to be riding in early May, but old age and stupidity saw me rolling my left ankle. The healing is "painfully" slow.

I'm checking out a Contour camera in Toronto Sunday. If it works out you may see more of those roads from a very different point of view.

'81 RD350LC hybrid w/84 RZ engine. Zeel, Old style Toomeys, Yboot and filter 420 main 22.5 pilot, Air screw 2.5 turns out, DJ needle 2nd from top, Canadian VM26 carbs.
'85 KR/RZ US. Tank is seeping causing a blister in paint.....
