Victoria Day Ride - Calgary

#1 Post by Hooligan » Tue May 21, 2013 1:14 am

Got out with my wife, my neighbour and his girlfriend today. We did about 140 kms from Calgary to Cochrane and back going around the northern ring road.

My wife with her 1990 RZ in front of McKay's Ice Cream parlor in Cochrane Alberta, just west of Calgary.

My LC and my neighbor's RC51 at Ralph Klein Memorial Park in the south east corner of Calgary. Just for fun we switched bikes for about an hour so I got to ride the RC for the first time. I can tell you it is quite an impressive machine with boatloads of low end torque and a ton of top end power. However as a homologation racer it is not the most comfortable bike for street riding.
