Jon & I disscussing the old 250 engine options,we noticed that I prolly pulled this motor just in time....anyone spot the problem lol.

Still deciding whether to use athena or just use the ported 350 barrels....
Either way this engine to get the full treatment, seals, bearings, new everything etc...tsa pipes if I can swing it if not Ill use Roger's pipes from WICKED ATV,yes ill repeat that again, pipes from Roger at WICKED ATV in Orange County USA ok....unless Glyn can pull his finger out this winter?
Think ill save the athena for the LC as planned.
DG pipes are still the bomb too....
Wow. I've never seen the spooge come past the double lip seal on the crank. Usually it is just an air leak. I guess if air can go in, spooge can come out.

That'll mean the crank journal is grooved.

Hmm yes you may be right there Jeff,I might have to try your sleeve trick for where ever this crank goes into.
Was amazed that it was leaking like it was,I think it was very close to going bang lol. Will know soon, pulling this motor down now.

I was looking at this pic and giggling. Last few weeks Ive been getting more and more peed off with my airhose being loose and having no home. Now I see that what I need is an LC to hang it on...! hahaha! :D

Good to see you using the mx stand, I like its jaunty angle, mine are all flat. angled would work better i reckon.
