Here is my 1990 with Brian's pipes. It has TZR250 3XV SP swingarm. VJ22 SP front end. VJ22 wheels front and rear. Yes the belly pan was slightly trimmed. Brian has massive cones.. Around the midrange the bike launches you. Yes the center brackets were removed

Interesting results. Just to show that Yamaha engineers have an edge too !! Also, cheap or expensive, aftermarkets are all the same, same power at 10-20% higher RPMs, which then forces the change on transmission/final ratio gearing to get the same final speed and acceleration.

Moral: stick with stock and everything suddenly works.

Omg ! That is beautiful !

I love the look of your bike , I need to get mine to that level one day.

What is with canisters ? Are they anodized aluminum ?

How do I get in touch with Brian ?

Could you go more into detail on how the lower panel need to be trimmed ?

Does he offer carbon canisters ?

I know when I contacted GR they said they could keep the center stand useable.

Thanks again
Todd

silencers are from yahoo japan. the reason for removing the center stand brackets are the cones and the swingarm linkage. the solo cowl are from an aftermarket company. after I bought the solo cowl. silverstrom knows of a much better solo cowl manufacturer. you can Brian a PM. He is a member of the board.
