One thing to consider which we have discussed earlier is that it is not at the specific point of one restriction being smaller than the other it completely takes over control of flow. Two restrictions in series which are close in size will restrict more than just the smaller one. Therefore if the "handover is happening at 90% throttle it could be that the main jet contributes to restricting flow already from 80% and that the needle jet continues to restrict flow somewhat all the way to 100% throttle.

I found in my trials that a smaller needle jet and larger main jet was equal to a larger needle jet and a smaller main jet at full throttle. I was able to find combinations that worked at 80% and others that worked at 100% and in the end I found a combination that worked at both 80% and 100% at a large rev span.

Just to keep track of my changes and share experience I post again my updated spec. I have tested larger Main Jets and gone from 290 to 360. It has helped a lot at full throttle were there before was no gain the last 1/4.

After some more jetting work on my 421 I went back to the Yamasaki and started to lean out a bit with great result. I have lowered the needle two notches and ordered Needle Jet P4. I have also gone back to 290 Main Jet.

Lectrons have no jets. They use a metering stick.

Hi, I have followed all the posts on this topic. At the end of your tests, what were the best settings with the TM32?
