Re: RZ 350 crank
The RZ crank is located in the case by the outer bearings.
The TZ crank is located by the inner bearings and lab seal.
The key to locate the ignition on the taper is off by 90 degrees.
What is it you're trying to gain? A TZ crank weighs more than a RZ crank.

Re: RZ 350 crank
The key is in the right spot if you use the TZ ignition as well...
The crank will "fit" but is narrower centre-to-centre, so you can't use the TZ outer rollers and a shim is required behind the locating outer mainbearing to centre it. Even then, the flywheels may still rub.
Bitzz is right - the RZ crank is a stronger design but just what do you have in mind?

"...its a 2-stroke ya twit - Its supposed to smoke..."
Re: RZ 350 crank
Weighs more cuz it's better balanced.
RZ ones are poorly balanced in 350 usage.
Despite this the RZ crank is more durable/stronger having wider Bottom rod bearings
The narrower width is a bit of a nuisance as well.
Sell it on to some Twit and use the coin to buy an RZ one?

Re: RZ 350 crank
The best cranks on the market are Vito's high performance race cranks, these are what I use in my race bikes.
https://www.amazon.com/Yamaha-Banshee-c ... crankshaft
High quality 8 ball Japanese Koyo bearings
peek coated cages
keyed center crank instead of pinned, trued and welded
Rods are shot peened and polished (really nice touch!)
Fits all Banshee and RZ350's
These are much better quality than OEM and great value. Measured 0.000 run-out on my dial gauge and I've never had a problem with them.
