Oil feed line broken

#1 Post by Consciousness » Thu Nov 20, 2014 3:17 am

I was attempting to richen the mix on the carbs a bit since we had such cold weather here in NYC recently, i can usually tug off the oil feed line to pull out the carbs to get to adjust the clip but due to the cold it just snapped where it joins the carb leaving me with a shorter line, i managed to get it back on but it split a little at the end and there is no more line to play with.

The line is a black hard nylon material and seems not to be the best stuff during the cold, is there something i can get locally that would replace it? My carbs are VM30's that have been drilled for oil injection with double flange tapered fittings.

aftermarket lines seem to get very hard and brittle....I changed to OEM and they stayed much softer..... easier to remove and reattach.
