Does anyone know if you can get parts for one? Going to look at one in a couple of days.

They say that about all of the grey market bikes. Parts are always available. Knowing where to look helps and there is a huge online community to assist you. Don't let a perceived parts rarity stop you from buying any bike. Any part can be found.
Re: 1986 HONDA NSR250
There are a few around here and parts too. But I have looked them over and they are shite. Save your money. If you go take a look you will decide the same thing. An RZ350 is ten times the bike.
Now the later model NSR is a different story!

Not all grey market bikes have the same parts availability unfortunately.silverstrom wrote:They say that about all of the grey market bikes. Parts are always available. Re: 1986 HONDA NSR250
The rule is simple: Always buy the BEST bike available. It will cost you more, but save you more.
The best way to become very familiar with a bike is to buy the nastiest POS you can find. By the time you've completely disassembled it and sold a kidney to finance it you'll know the bike inside and out. Literally.

Re: 1986 HONDA NSR250
Worse than that.. Typ Grey market 'importers' typically sell on completely worn out... Crap Bikes.
Re: 1986 HONDA NSR250
So, did you go look at the NSR?
What did you think?
