1986 HONDA NSR250

Does anyone know if you can get parts for one? Going to look at one in a couple of days.

i have heard crank parts are VERY tough to come by on anything before the MC21

They say that about all of the grey market bikes. Parts are always available. Knowing where to look helps and there is a huge online community to assist you. Don't let a perceived parts rarity stop you from buying any bike. Any part can be found.

There are a few around here and parts too. But I have looked them over and they are shite. Save your money. If you go take a look you will decide the same thing. An RZ350 is ten times the bike.
Now the later model NSR is a different story!

Not all grey market bikes have the same parts availability unfortunately.

The rule is simple: Always buy the BEST bike available. It will cost you more, but save you more.

The best way to become very familiar with a bike is to buy the nastiest POS you can find. By the time you've completely disassembled it and sold a kidney to finance it you'll know the bike inside and out. Literally.

Worse than that.. Typ Grey market 'importers' typically sell on completely worn out... Crap Bikes.

Go the 150 SP cylinders and turn it into a 300, i've heard it can be done.
