Oil pump flow
Question, starting a bike that has not been started in 10 years. Was kicked over occasionally and oil dropped in cyl. I was going to start it up on premix for safety, but, how can I tell if the pump is working ok? Can I just pull the oil lines off the carb and see injection oil come out? Also the bi...

Thx I see that , I guess it’s a 84 as I tried to look at 85 plugs and they do look different,, 84 cdi box kinda scares me , you know how long will it last? At $150 I can get a zeal for about 80 more and be done with it?? Not sure what to do. Thx again

I was thinking my extra spacer (4.8mm) went in The #4 spot but I put in that spot it seems to be just a tad big.. I know 2 and 3 are correct I have a small,thin (washer/spacer maybe .5mm)) in the 4 spot now. Maybe the .5mm pacer goes in spot 1 and I could try to but the extra one (4.8mm) that I have...

another quick spec. the bushing is white plastic just like the one on the pins the activate the slides ??? Thx

I JUST REBUILT THRE CARBS ON THE RZ350 AND AFTER ALL ASSEMBLED , THERE WAS A BUSHING LEFT LAYING ON THE BENCH. I TOOK THEM APART AGAIN AND CAN NOT FIND A PLACE FOR IT ..THE PIN THAT IS ON BOTH CARBS THAT SECURE THE SLIDE HAS THE WASHER AND BUSHING ON BOTH SIDES OF IT. JUST DO NOT KNOW WHERE THIS ONE...

:smt007 :smt007 Looking to keep the bike a good 10 years and ride 200-300 miles a year,, if a person went to a zeel and did not cobble things up , you could always go back to the OEM box ??? not thinking about resale as Im sure I would loose money, but sometimes you have to overpay ,again ugh :smt007

I hooked the spring up on the workbench with the outer pad in place and I can't see it doing much. I tried to look the spring up on the partzilla parts site but they do not show it . its about 2"long and has a rubber sleeve around it ? I will be putting my caliper back together Monday and just ...

I guess looking at the zeal that is the easiest way out for me. Sounds like a easy installation and done . I would like to go to the 85 cdi but have not been into this long enough to figure out all I would need and where to purchase it. I would be a little afraid of getting used stuff as I might fal...

Thanks a ton for your response. cleaning carbs in a agitater . I think I want to change the pilots just for kicks.i thought they were 20. I have 410 mains, not sure what else was done to the carbs but my bike came with some extra jets and info from dyna jet, so I assume this was the mod done to the ...
