If you can't get it done drop me a PM. Make a mock up with cardboard. That is how I do most of the simple aluminum tanks and mufflers.

Use .070" 3032 aluminum. Heat with a acetylene torch using the soot method until the metal loses it temper. Make a mockup tank to be used as a buck to work the aluminum. Hand form the pieces and then weld them together. That is the basic way to do it. There are videos you can order showing the ...

Motoholic71: Yes the #1 issue is the bronze bushing. The one I have seen go bad the most is 5th gear pinion . The one just after the fixed 1st gear on the main shaft. I search daily for RZ transmissions and rarely do I find one and they are getting expensive as well. We are getting set up to have complete RZ based engines and was going to use the bulk of the transmissions for that application. Cases being made now and all the other components are available afterm...

We are in the process of testing a 19 plate and 25 plate clutch system for the RZ engine. The main reason is we have been racing an RZ based engine in road racing for years and on the larger high horsepower engines we get a very short clutch life. 96mm same as OEM but there are 2 larger diameters available for when you go to a larger lower connecting pin for longer rods and life.
