Re: 1ua top end with 31k carbs pilot jet

Something is wrong. Nothing to do with the jugs being 1UA. 31k carb with screw top is 22.5 pilot I believe.

humidity makes a difference. I would bet you would get those 2hp back easily with the same humidity...

Re: Head gasket

The price will be proportionate with how badly you need it and how fast you want it. This is pricey, but it's in Canada and will get to BC fast. https://www.ebay.ca/itm/Genuine-Yamaha-4L0-11181-09-Gasket-Cylinder-Head-RD350-RD350LC-Metal-OEM-NOS/164313973553?hash=item2641e04331:g:Zu8AAOSw2exfIs8M T...

my visits are a fraction of what they were and I am not updating my threads (since I am lazy and can't be arsed to upload to flicker, cut the link, paste, remove my name...) too much trouble on my phone. basically have to be... sitting.... at a computer... gasp.

i think that's reasonable for a basically new-vintage bike... and you'll get dang close to that if you sell it.

Re: kobra's 1985 RZ350NC2 basket case restoration

great looking ride so how much? 5k without initial purchase? that's what I am looking at for my LC rest as a rough estimate 87 octane is fine with a stock head, though I would still use 91. I would use whatever has NO ethanol, 91 preferred. check compression yearly and do a top end when its below 100.
