Re: Brass Ball(s)
Couldn’t you tap the hole (shallow 2-3 threads) and block the hole with a small bolt? That would allow removal and cleaning as needed. I’ve heard that done on the AC forum with VM28s

Does anyone have contact info for Turfrey? I’ve got some 3MA suspension to swap onto my 84 RZ. Thanks!

Re: Re-texturing intake manifolds
Mine were roughed up with some sort of scaling tool. Not dimpled, but definitely textured. I think golf balls are dimpled to effect the boundary layers as it flies and rotates. Helps them fly straighter, although you’d never know that watching me golf.

Re: 2strokeworld.com
I talked to Mark H. today and he’s trying to obtain the domain. Hopefully that means none of the information is lost. I don’t really know how that works though. Would be a shame to lose all of that.

http://i64.tinypic.com/hvxg95.png How the hell does boost in a bottle help a motorcycle... :smt017 :smt036 Absurd snake oil....that what I'm callin :smt002 . It leans out your mixture until your motor melts down. Then you rebuild it with all of the trick parts, porting etc until you gain the perfor...
Re: FUEL
I found a Sunoco distributor a few miles from my house. I can walk in and buy anything from 95 octane unleaded to nitromethane. I’m currently running 100 octane unleaded at 32:1 in my RD400. It’s 10 bucks a gallon.

Re: Marc Marquez 6 world titles?
I disagree. I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not a Marquez fan but the guy is undeniably talented. I believe that there are racers of every generation who would eventually excel on whatever bike they were given. He is arguably the best in the world right now, and would be competitive in any era. ...

Re: Marc Marquez 6 world titles?
Maybe we should petition HRC to allow Marquez to lap Phillip Island on one of the last 500’s fitted with modern rubber? They let him ride his race bike on Japanese roads for promotional effects..
That would be amazing to watch.

Re: Runaway motor
Sometimes carbon will build up in the combustion chamber. As it gets hot it can provide an ignition source. It sounds to me like there is another problem though. An air leak will cause the motor to rev. As will slides sticking in the carb bodies. Have you checked the kill switch to make sure it is f...

Re: Euro Harleys
Why would you buy a Harley if you wanted performance and handling? It’s like buying an old muscle car for the fuel mileage.
