Re: how long has your bike been sitting due to resto or mods
Almost finished my restoration on an 89 RZ F2. Has been sitting for 18 years but it was complete when it was parked and is still complete. Just have to finish getting the carbs set up and I can ride it.

Re: Local Racing
I remember racing with Frank at Shannonville in the early 90's. He was running vintage then on a loud as f*%k Kawasaki with open pipes. He loved to race and always said he would do it until he died.

Re: Pilot Air jet cleaning by removing brass ball. How too??
I am in the same boat with a 1UA left carb. Low speed jets are both plugged and i can't get them opened. How does a jet work if there is a ball plugging It? Trying to learn more about these carbs bit they are vexing me some. Thanks.

You may be able to use a piece of ABS pipe the right size as a drift. Put a piece of wood over the end you are hitting with the hammer.

Re: Best 2 stroke injector oil
I still have 22 bottles of Silkolene Comp 2 Synthetic left over from my racing days in the early 90's. Will be running that. It always performed well on the track. Bottles have changed but it is still available.

Re: Anybody know a reputable 2 stroke tuner in southern Onta
Thanks ZedSLedder and Justin. I have a box of jets that I still have from my race bike so I am good with jets. I just don't know what to do with them :-). They came with the race bike when I bought it. I did drop the pilot jets down one when I had the carbs cleaned since the bike smoked so much. The...

Re: Finally finished 1989 F2 RZ350
Thank you very much. The paint was done by Pro Graphix in Oakville back in 1992. They used to be located at South Service Road and 3rd line but they are not there anymore. Hi name is Terry Collins. Not sure where he is these days.

Re: Anybody know a reputable 2 stroke tuner in southern Onta
Thank you Justin. I have the Yamaha service manual. I have taken the carb apart and had them sonically cleaned and they are back together. I am just not that familiar with tuning a 2 stroke and would feel more comfortable seeing it done before I try it myself. I do not need anything radical here. Ju...

Anybody know a reputable 2 stroke tuner in southern Ontario?
I want to get the bike running the best I can on a stock setup but don't feel confident in tuning the carbs myself.

Re: Carb Sync questions
Hi Rory. Do you use the 4025 or the 4027 Uni Syn. There seems to be bad reviews about the 4027 motorcycle version. Seems it is pretty cheaply made in China and breaks easily.

Re: Carb Sync questions
Thanks Rory. It looks like you would need two of them to do both carbs correct? Do they just go in the intake side of the carbs when you pull the airbox off?
