Re: Info on Canadian 1989 RZ350 for future project
Thanks Darrell! I bought a Canadian RD and had zero trouble getting it titled in Washington. All I had to do was to take it, along with the Canadian version of our title, to the customs office in Tacoma. A customs inspector made sure the numbers matched, signed a piece of paper, and that was that. I...

Re: Info on Canadian 1989 RZ350 for future project
Hello Evan Isn’t that quite a process though getting that frame in the states, then the title process after that? I have only seen these bikes for sale in Canada and never really made the jump due to not knowing what’s all involved in getting one across the border and transferring the title since it...

Re: Info on Canadian 1989 RZ350 for future project
Yeah , let’s just say there was a big lawsuit over that wreck. Since this bike has no real return with that frame. I will only be able to part it out eventually (not much left) but would like to get the bike running at least before I advertise the motor. For now it looks good in storage as I have a ...

Engine case restoring the black
Hey guys, is there any cleaner you would recommend on cleaning the engine cases? I have this 73 Rd350 and two 85 RZ’s that I would like to bring back the black the best I can without painting them which would be a whole different journey. Doesn’t look like it bit this bike is covered in dust from st...

Info on Canadian 1989 RZ350 for future project
Hi guys, this 89 RZ350 was thrown in with a trade I did for a 1985 RZ350 and a ton of parts. He said, do you want this thing too?? Why of course. Engine is good and will need to put the pipes back on and look at the wiring harness to try to start. I’m not finding too much on the years these were mad...

1985 RZ350 - Back to Oil Injector Pump advice
Hey Guys, I have a 85 RZ350 that was running in premix when I bought it and have ran it that way since. The Oil Pump is still in the side, however I would like to get it connected back up again. I'll need to get hoses, but is there a safe way to test this pump? Just leave the hoses off the carbs and...

Re: 85 RZ350- Clutch slipping after oil change
Yes on the car oil, clutch wasn't slipping like this before so yeah, the discs might be shot. Hopefully this weekend I'll have enough time to get that oil out of there. Springs are on their way

Re: 85 RZ350- Clutch slipping after oil change
Thanks for all input, never did a clutch before so I'm going to roll up both sleeves and go at it once I get these springs in. Any specific year for the fzr 1000 plates ?
