Crank seals have lips that fit to the upper and lower cases. Seals first, then close the cases. Make certain you grease the seals as the book says. Cheers all for your help, as i turns out my gas can was only 1 Gal. so i'm running closer to 40:1 with this tank. I'm gonna pick up a 5 gallon can which if i add one 16oz bottle of Red Line to should work out at 60:1 according to a handy calculator i found online here http://www.at-speed.com/old_ver...

KTM manual recommends Motorex at 60:1, Red Line recommends anything from 50:1-100:1 I'll stick with 50:1 which means i drain half the tank.

Just got my KTM 300 and messed up the premix ratio [smilie=ops.gif] . It has an aftermarket Acerbis gas tank so i called to find out it's capacity, i was told 6.6 gallons.
