Thanks for the reply, if the bolt holes are the same then that was my main concern. I have that dreaded 6000rpm hole i'm looking to eliminate.

Re: '81-'82 RD350LCs upgrades. Canadian.
I would not say the spacers changed where the power band on my LC is, but they did fill in that nasty 6500 rpm hole in the power band. The power still comes on strong at 6500-7000 rpm with the spacers. I've got that annoying 6500rpm hole to. Did you put the spacers on the cylinder side or carb side...

Does someone have a link that explains in detail on how to set timing on an lc with a degree wheel ?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Stator Side Crank
Haven't been able to work on the bike again until now. I was able to clean the ring off with a scotchbright pad and did a leak down test. All seems good.
Thanks
Thanks

IgnitionTiming
I set the timing on my 350lc with a dial indicator gauge like the manual says. Whats the best way to ensure the timing is accurate ? I've heard that the f mark on the flywheel and reference mark on the stator assembly aren't always accurate .
Thanks
Thanks

Stator Side Crank
I did a leakdown test and found a leak at the stator side crank seal on my 350lc. There's a ring worn on the crank where the seal sits. What options do i have?
Thanks
Thanks

When ordering yamaha crank seals, how do you know your not going to get ones that have been sitting on the shelf too long and are starting to harden up ?

Reed Valve Assembly Install
Does it matter which way the valve assembly is installed into the cylinder? The manual says to use the corner of the valve stop that is nipped off for reference so its on lower left corner when installed but the lower left corner is always nipped off because there's one valve stop on both sides that...

Re: Piston Replacement
If it was me, and the cylinder bore is ok, I'd verify what size the piston is and buy the same piston from the same manufacturer. Would be a good idea to verify size but .25mm is .0098. Pretty tough to have much variation when the tolerances have to be so tight. With that said pick up some bore gag...
