Clutch shaft play
Hi Finally putting the rz385 together Hinson straight gear clutch and basket Dry fit above What spacer thickness goes between clutch and clutch basket I have the steel spacer the one that goes between the cases and main clutch hub Drawing shows another spacer between clutch and clutch basket

i will have the same problem.. my hinson straight cut gears are on the way along with the basket ... have to premix ,,,, probably a good idea with a 385 stroker

The only thing I don't like about the Hinson set up is their choice to use springs.. if anything you want to make the clutch as light as you can.. My choice for the best straight cuts is Liberty Gears. Ed Do you have there contact number Have you used them ? I have tz roller bearing s so thinking s...

has any one tried the Hinson Clutch kit I was particular looking at the straight cut gear set with the there hinson basket I am not using the oil pump ,, I am blanking off Also have all ready install the two stroke crank shaft and TZ roller bearings .. with the groove cut out on center bearing or sh...

Now I can torque to 18
And get cylinders and head on ....

cases bottom nut torque
hi good morning
can some body tell me the torque for the 12 mm nuts
on the bottom of the engine cases (8) nuts in pounds
I used a spare set of cylinder nuts with the built in washer
the cases are back together ,,,, installing the cylinders next...

I have an rd 350 f2 with a fuel tank that weeps on the underside. Am I best to weld/braise the bottom of it or just line the inner with an ethanol proof slooshing kit. What I mean is, does this type of impela works much better, then the original ( you will get better cooling) Ron Better cooling is hardly an issue with these bikes. LCs are terribly cold blooded and take forever to warm up. More cooling is not something that would help. I agree LC are terribly cold...
