Make sure you only ease the spring out enough to let the cable drop into the recess, if it comes right out of the hole it's a pain to get back in.
Better send your pump to Arrow to sort out before you blow your engine up

Re: Electronic tach signal pick up
If your CDI was meant to run an electronic tacho (later YPVS models) this wire will run the Koso tacho , well it did on my R1 set up. On my previous bike I had a Vapor dash & this used the + wire to the coils to run the tacho.

Re: oil pump problem
As said forget what is written on the wheel its the worm drive which determines if its a 250 or 350 pump. See photos, larger worm is 350 http://i633.photobucket.com/albums/uu59/nikfubar/DSC00130.jpg You can strip these down & rebuild them, these are the gaskets & seals you need. http://i633....

Re: ultrsonic cleaners
You can increase the size of ultrasonic bath by getting a plastic container which is almost as big as the bath but taller, sit it in the bath & fill with cleaning solution then fill the bath around the container with water.

Re: YPVS Leak/Bad Blowing Noise
WTF think you need to find someone who knows what they are doing, that should not happen :smt009 For starters the PV jointer (if it was ever fitted) should not fall off if the screws were done up tight with nutlock. There are no oil seals fitted which is why there is oil & crap everywhere. The b...

Still mucking around with jetting at the moment, once that's sorted will do a quick vid :smt023 Took it out for a run in the sun the other weekend & it sounded great when above 6K but a bit flat in the middle. http://i633.photobucket.com/albums/uu59/nikfubar/KH250/00312_zpsb8b594b7.jpg http://i6...

Re: Front Wheel Spacing vs Triple Clamp Spacing
Sounds to me like there's something wrong with your yokes (triple trees) to cure one problem you created 3 more, if the axle is now too short there must have been a problem elsewhere.

Re: diffrent thermostat sizes
Not sure if this is any help but the RGV & RD350 ones are the same diameter & obviously both fit in the housing but the 50degree RGV one moves further so it does bottom out in a 350 head but still allowed for the same flow rate as the 350 stat except it opened 20 degrees earlier, this combin...
