US bikes use the same flywheel, stator and CDI that other markets use for corresponding model years.

Over the years Ive collected a bunch of parts to do the 2000/2001 R1 dash conversion for our bikes. IMHO this is a much nicer dash than an aftermarket and of course, its OEM Yam. you can sometimes find full Yamaha ket sets as well.

Its an OEM unit thats had the function and the switches added... so yes.
