Rear brake master cylinder - alternatives
Hi All, I'm hoping someone can help me out with my project bike. My current rear master cylinder is toast and I've also lost the brake switch. I'd like to go to a more modern looking master with a pressure switch that is activated by the brake fluid. I'm also looking for one where the brake line exi...

Re: Rear reservoir brake hose replacement?
So it turns out that McMaster is not currently shipping to Canada. The good news is that you can get 3/8 EPDM black rubber hosing / tubing at TSC Stores in Canada. About $5 a foot. J

Busted throttle cable on an 88
Hi, The plastic throttle cable adjuster near the throttle snapped a piece off where it meets the throttle cable. As a result, the cable won't stay in the adjuster. I've also just noticed that a replacement for my bike is NLA. Does anyone know what I can do for a replacement? Perhaps Motion Pro could...

Rear reservoir brake hose replacement?
Hi All,
My rear brake reservoir hose is toast and the OEM ones are NLA. Does anyone have an alternate part number I can use to get a replacement, either from yamaha or another manufacturer?
Thx.

Re: Lost piston pin circlip
WooHoo... got it. Picked-up one of the magnetic tools. It JUST fit between the crank journals but boy did the magnet ever want to stay stuck to the crank! I bent the expandable shaft in the process.
Thanks for the advice!

Lost piston pin circlip
Hi All,
While rebuilding my engine today I accidentally dropped the piston pin circlip into the crankcase. Just wondering what my options are? Can it stay there, I REALLY do not want to have to split the cases to get it out if I don't have to.
Thx.

Re: Aluminum radiators on auction site
I'm also looking for a radiator. Prices on ebay are anywhere from $67 to $150. Could someone whose purchased one and is happy with the fitment / results post who they purchased it from?
Thx.

Re: 2015 R1 Shock Install on RZ350
Does anyone know if this set-up will work with a VJ23 swingarm? I'm concerned with the reservoir tank hitting the swingarm given there is much more bulk around the axle bolt with the VJ23 than with the stock swingarm.

Water pump bearing
Hi,
I just got my new Yamaha water pump bearing and noticed that there was a plastic seal on one side (the one I took out had no such seal). Just wondering if I should remove the seal .... and if not, which direction does it face (towards the engine or the impeller?)
Thx.

2 into 1 intake
Wondering if anyone is using a 2 into 1 intake from Mcdermott racing, BP racing, Chariot or other? I'm interested from an ease of tuning perspective or possible a fuel injection one. Also, does anyone know what kind of performance change I could expect. My bike is a street bike so a loss of a couple...
