Here is the newest product offering from Mad Beaver. This is a tried and true static balancer design, but with a couple of nice features incorporated from experience.

The stand is constructed of lightweight aluminum instead of the old-school steel type and has adjustable feet for leveling. The rod is stainless steel and the bearing cones are CNC-machined aluminum. Paint is powdercoat "Toolbox Red." The bearings are standard issue 6300's so if replacement is ever necessary it will be very inexpensive.

The really trick feature is that instead of being welded together, the uprights are bolted in place. What this means is that in less than two minutes it can be disassembled for tight packing.

Click on the picture for more photos and e-mail M-Bike directly with questions or to order a stand (or call 613-345-0354). List price is $279.95CDN (about $215US as of this date). All club members get a flat price of $250CDN (plus applicable taxes for CDN customers).
