YPVS Curve with Jollymoto and Modificate YVVS unit

Hi

I have a two stoke racing lab modificate YPVS unit and i want your advice :

What is the better curve o use with a RD500 engine stock but with Jolly Moto exhaust ? To have a good bike, who is pleasant to ride ?

YPVS opening soon or later ?

On my Zeel i used the 1GE curve. It runs as fast as I need and has done so for 7 years

I use the curve from the TSI-specs and have a later opening on the ypvs (zeeltronic) During braking in from honed/new pistons and mildly ported barrells i used 47x (rd500 -84 european) timing and after that changed to TSI......om my......unleashed 15-20hp easaly.

Have a look here and check out curve 18 or 16.

(Curve 18 equals RZ500 Mod_2 in your manual)
Or in other words: start opening around 7500-8000, end opening a few hundred rpm before peak rpm (10500 - 12000).

Unfortunately the stock controller has some 10500 as max rpm. For higher rpms you'd need a Zeeltronic or Ignitech controller.
