Hi Jeff, I was hoping the more elaborate my response is the simpler the fix will be. Like yeah a cable end was hanging out. HaHa

Steve, I hope your better at jetting than me but if you decide to go leaner on needle jets at $75 a set I have at least 3 sets of leaner ones I can mail you to try. When I finally got to the ones that responded to changes is when I found out it wanted the top of the needle taper cut so it started same place as a stock carb needle or it will bog pulling from stop or slow speed. It shouldn't make a difference if you run open carbs or filters so if you notice a difference theres a reason. Bigger air bleed jets richen the fuel curve. They are easy to change and make a difference in driveability at slower speeds. I'm using 1.1s from stock carbs but tried 1.5 and open hole for quick tests
