Check valves
Hi guys I’m looking at fitting some check valves to the oil lines just wondering if anyone has any pictures on where they should be fitted
Re: Check valves
Ony my RZV, i fitted them at the pump, On my RZ500 I fitted them behind the crank cover, the little plastic cover at the end of the upper crank..

Re: Check valves
Thanks. Do you need to drain the oil or can you just cut the line and install.
Re: Check valves
I would fill the valves with oil using a syringe, cut the line and fit that way there will be very little air introduced
Re: Check valves
I cut the lines and fitted them, This was a new build so I was running premix till all the lines were pumping oil..

Re: Check valves
I have these on all of my bikes as well and they work great. Years ago before I started using these my Rz500 was locked solid as the crankcase was full of 2 stroke oil!
