Oil check v/v’s

Recently bought an rg500.Have done a lot of work on it to get it to look o.k.Whilst the engine runs well I have the problem of two stroke oil seeping out of the 2 left carbs when standing.
Doesn’t, appear to come out of the two right hand carbs(probably the shortest route to the left carbs)
I am looking at putting the oil check v/v,s that are for the Yamaha rd500 on the outlets of the pump before it enters the carbs.Is this the best option and has anyone used clear lines for the oil supply assuming they are the same internal dia as the Yam ones and compatible.
The earlier thread didn’t give a definite solution.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

I think there was a recent thread on here about using the Yamaha check valves on the RG.

Yep, I used these on both my RG500s, No probs and stopped the carb leaks on both.

Adding the inline check valves, it's OK to use them with the existing check valves in the carbs?

Yes, Both mine have the OEM check valves and inline valves and zero probs,
