Rz500 for sale

I got this from my buddy to sell. It’s a 1985 Yamaha RZ 500. The bike has a California title, California registration, and registration is current. The whole bike has been completely gone through.

Motor was done by Brian Turfrey. He also did the exhaust pipes. If you look at them, they look just like Kenny Roberts’ Daytona winning bike. The two upper pipes have curved stingers on the silencers. The two lower stingers on the silencers are straight. This bike also comes with the stock original pipes.

The paint work was done to match Kenny Roberts’ Daytona bike, and Don Serrano painted this bike. All original body panels. I believe the rims are the stock color. They have not been painted. There have been a few small repairs on the inside of the panels. At the moment, there is a small chip in the gas tank, but Don Serrano has already agreed to fix it. The graphic stripes are done in paint too.

Cranks rebuilt. New pistons. New clutch, bearings checked in the motor. The stock swingarm is braced. Body work is off so potential buyers can see what it looks like underneath the fairings. It has a solo seat cowl. Bike also comes with a custom built rear stand, for display purposes, that slides through the rear axle.

I think you would be hard pressed to find a cleaner RZ 500.
