I guess some people have so much money, they can buy motorcycles just to look at.

Seller doesn't even bother to list mileage, or any details.

I can't believe anyone would buy it to ride. And how much more money could the bike ever be sold for? Doesn't seem like a good investment, either.

Beautiful bike, stupid price. :smt102

Well, it's an ask. Selling could be quite different.
But did you see the ducati 750ss on bat?
Ok, early green frame. But used as intended (raced & crashed) by nobody famous.
Replacement crankcase.
Sold $151,000.
I thought it was crazy when it hit half that ....

I wish there was a thumbs-up button for Smoker and lost. I agree entirely. But I'd love to have the bike!

Just ridiculous what he's asking, and many other examples. Prices are up for sure but expectations are unrealistic. An NS250f, not a NS250r, for $8500 CAD in Vancouver for sale for a month now. Most NSR250se/sp here are asking in the $15,000 CAD range now.

I noticed an NSR250 Rothmans MC21 sp for sale at Moto2imports for $25,000 USD. That's for a MC21 not an MC28. The 1994 sp I have also had 1500 produced. 1994 was the final year of the Rothmans edition, 1995 was sp was HRC colours and was 1500 units, and the 1996 Repsol sp, the final year was only 1000 units. The SP variants are extremely rare, no matter which version. They are wonderful bikes.

That is a nice looking bike but at that price it will be sitting. If you really do not need to sell it then ask as much as you can get i quess. But one picture, no info. and importing good luck. Should have all the manuals, spares, and maintenance history. Like any other two stroke, if it has been sitting there is a rebuild in its future. My TZ was basically $2,500 for rebuild. I love my little 250 but it is a tool to me. TZs are getting hard to locate and a fellow owner of one passed on another for 16K. One of you Honda owners need to let us know how easy parts location is. An instructor I know recently bought a RGV 250 and he can still order all parts directly from Suzuki. I wish Yamaha would rebuild some of there parts. OH, one other thing, the Cagiva going for auction hopefully will go to a collector that a friend of mine works for. Itold him I better get an introduction if he gets it.
