RD500 Clutch Pushrod Wanted

Hi,
I’m looking for an RD500 clutch pushrod, the long one. Failing that, can anybody tell me if the pushrod was used in any other bike?

Yes, no joy. The part has been discontinued for a while now so I’m hoping to find one private. There’ll be plenty about, it’s one of those parts that people stick in a box at the back of the garage and forget for 20 years. I’ve just got to hope somebody wants to part with one.

I have now found a pushrod but for anybody in the same position as me i.e. never seen one and no idea of the size, the following are the dimensions:-

L 280mm
D 8.7mm

The rod reduces in diameter for the last 16mm of its length to 6.7mm. For clarity, I was advised that the 500 used the same rod as the 350lc, this is not the case.
