hi has anyone ever taken the cooling fan apart ie the bearing in under the blades ect if yes any pics ? i ask as mine is not spinning freely not sure if it needs a new bearing or what . ta

Mine started making grinding noises, so I took one from a R1. same size, same plug, but moving a lot more air

I am looking to update my cooling fan, I would like to know which R1 model/year was used, or maybe other plug & play model ??

I made the modification many years ago, so the fan I used could easily be from a model year around 2010. Unfortunately I don't remember this anymore.
