Thanks guys.
When I first dug into this project, I knew it was one of the more complex projects that I have talked myself into. :smt017
Everyone's threads and photos helped me keep moving on to get my own bike done.

Thanks again :smt023

Now I need to get my Zeel dialed in beyond the standard stock curves, and go into the unknown to find more HP

Thanks :smt023
It's almost done....
Zeel has been installed and works as designed, but have yet to dig very deep into finding more power with it.
Break in time is more or less over and now it's time to tune.
Might change pilot jets to 22.5 from the 25's I have in now, but the 230 mains seem to be about right.

Made arrangements for dyno time next month.... :smt020

Testing and tuning, hoping to find any issues now before I get to the dyno.

No rain this afternoon....
Time for a bit of a workout....

Looks like you gave the speedo a good full-sweep workout too!

Feels good up top, but the lower range feels just a bit weak....although I have never run a RZV before for a comparison.
Waiting for some more exhaust gaskets, and I will dig into the carbs the same time I pull the pipes to reseal them better....and re torque as much as I can reach
It's close enough to leave alone.....but close enough is really not close enough for me. :smt017

We've all chased that last little bit of power we know is there. Just use caution as the best performance tends to be right at the ragged edge of failure. Sometimes close enough is close enough.

Great video. Nice to see the bike working well. You've done a terrific job.

I won't push this one as hard as I do my 250's
But the 250's are designed for more power from the start.

Which leads me to my next Yamaha project.....
Hope to see it in person in about 10-12 weeks
