Didn't take long to crush that dream.

And no wonder, the bike still looks freshly built!

Found out the bike needs a new intake & exhaust because "it's getting too much air".

Man, I've got enough to fix already.

That's unfortunate Pete.

Another case of form surpassing function?

To each his own I guess, but that one I just don't get. I think it looks more rat bike than custom and was built just because it could be and with no actual purpose in mind.

Isnt that true of all bobber/chopper type customs?
Heck, no one would even restore a real old bike if function was a concern.
So although some of the uh ,details arent to my liking, the purpose is pretty much look what I came up with for a gt380 or whatever, and you gotta give the guy points for that.

Not as custom as some bikes around here, but has a fantastic look.

Excellent work on the seat/tailpiece. :smt023

I wouldn't want to ride it though, with my heels so close to my butt. I've gone full out anti-race position for my street bikes.

Trying to keep my old bones happy.

The world is so fuckin small - I happen to have seen that bike it in real life :-)
It's the bike of Olaf Stock from Extertal in the north of Germany.
I still remember that he was so happy after modifying the PV controller to some BDK specs.
