Yes, but they should be available everywhere.

I also bought a set from this seller. It says "pre-order" now because he gets them from Yamaha. At the time, several months ago, I paid him $61 Cdn plus shipping for the set. Now his price is $78 Cdn plus shipping.https://www.ebay.ca/itm/PRE-ORDER-30-DA ... SwxXZcae-B

While waiting for them I bought a set from Yamaha. The price was about the same when you put local taxes up against foreign shipping.

CMS has them as well https://www.cmsnl.com/yamaha-rd500lc-19 ... J_nMndFyUk

They aren't rare and they aren't hard to find. It isn't worth the grief of spending hours and hours looking for the cheapest source. Buy them from the simplest source and avoid the headache.

I got the fuel pipes from tank to fuel tap, the foam cover and also a new fuel tap from my local Yamaha dealer here in central Alberta with no issues at all.

John
The original post in this thread was to point out that these fuel filter assemblies could be bought for one third the price of that one. There's several sources for around the $100 point but I can't find any around the $25 price point mentioned in the original post. Strangely the 3ma one is generally cheaper than the 47x one even though it should be the other way round!

the OP was 3 years ago; perhaps that's the explanation...

Yes unfortunately 3 years ago these were still available but people where trying to sell them like they were hard to find, fast forward and these are NLA now and getting pricey!

Here is a NOS one for $60 USD shipped from Singapore https://www.ebay.com/p/Yamaha-RD500-Fue ... 1311870222

Thanks but that one doesn't have a tap on it.
Would like the 3MA-24510-0 so it's easier to remove the tank from the 500 without having to empty it

Taps arrived. Will get fitted once the tank is almost dry.
Will I need to cut the heat shield or does it fit with having to cut it?

One of my bikes it fitted perfectly, the other I had to put a small dent in it so the tap would clear, It would leak when it hit the shield

Just ordered the TZR petcock, updated part number is 3MA-25410-01-00 from CMS Netherlands. Will have to see if it hits the heat shield.
