Plastic Repair
Bought a product called Plastex and works great. Even comes with a mold to form tabs and parts. Ground out all the cracks on body work and filled in. Grind down good as new. Should have used molding bat on all the tabs but fiqured I would start over for more strength. http://www.plastex.net/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Re: Plastic Repair
Ground up ABS plastic and acetone. You can make a lifetime's worth yourself for just a few $$.

Re: Plastic Repair
That is the same product I am using. Was not that expensive but working great. Next try is to graft a section of the front fairing. Have to figure how to match the cut.
Re: Plastic Repair
Section of broken wind screen that was removed
Section that was transplanted from another fairing
Stitched rear side for extra strength
Missing section of the transplanted piece
Mold from good fairing
Mold taped over missing section
Plastic being molded to fairing
Completed plastic after mold removed
Before sanding new plastic
Repaired fairing ready to wrap

Re: Plastic Repair
If I was a body man I would of painted it. But it is a track bike so will continue with wrap. Thinking of still installing factory decals. Maybe the TZ 250 decals from Alpha Graphics.

How did your friends enjoy the TT? You have any local travel agents that might help with setting next years trip up?
