Rz500 color reference

Hi, I want to give my RZ500 a fresh paintjob. The red it currently has seems too dark, but I have no reference of how it should be.
Does the red of the decalset of RDdecals match the red paint or are the decals slightly lighter than the painted red?
Can someone sell me any broken fairing part with original color on, so I can match the paint?

RZV500 colors are diffrant then RD500
The RZV has a lighter red color then the RD500 , has bleu stripes instead of the black ones (RD500)

The RD500 stripes aren't black. They're a very dark blue. I used to think they were black as well until the Guru put me right!

I have some NOS panels and some used original and the old ones look darker so used ones are not IMO a good reference . To give you an idea , DUPLICOLOR GM 4784 is a very close match if painted over a white base . If you don't mind waiting a few days I can get a panel scanned for a color code .

I know the difference, I am after the lighter RZ/RZV color.

I'd only had my bike for 29 years when the guru pointed out that the 'straight' red on my RD500 was actually metallic red !!
