I had an IT250. The wall at Gorman was to great of a workout. The IT490 went up the wall with no problem

I love my CR500s, I have 2 AF, street legal bikes, I built them in CRF250X frames that I got plated, Absolute bonkers, I stripped both of them and rebuilt the engines and all the chassis, New Alpina wheels on one, Excels on the other, One engine was tuned by Eric Gore and the other by a local tuner who builds hill climbers, This is a pic of that one, Problem with either of them is MPG, They will only do 110mph, thats it, The back wheel has the smallest sprocket I can find before the chain hits the rim and the front is as big as the chain hits the casing, But pure bonkers getting there, they will wheelie at any speed any time without even trying, 40 miles to the tank though, thats the problem with them :)

There is something innately wonderful about something that cant make its mind up whether it wants to wheelie or slide - so does both.
Mines a bit large for MA woods. So got a little beta 200rr for offroad here.
But I understand it's pretty easy to get street registration out here ... hmm a. pardon the expression super etard.

More Progress :) We have a winner!! Balanced the carbs with the little air thingy tool, Set the idle and open throttle to get them perfect, Fitted the gear changer, fairing panels, mirrors and a few other tweaks, I bought a Chinese Brembo master cylinder and had it fitted and it looked perfect and worked perfect, BUT!!! Fuck it, The one place we shouldn't cut corners in the brakes, So I splashed out and picked up a proper Brembo master and fitted it, Looks almost identical, They have it down to an art.......
Took her out for her first spin, Gentle, feel her out, Everything felt good, pulled over in a mile or so and let it Idle, Nothing dripping or leaking, Headed off for a 22 mile spin, All good, I love the handling with the 17" rims, its just a better bike that the stock bike with the ride height and XJR front end, solid in high speed corners, Just really nice, Brakes are unreal, They will stop this thing on a penny, Unreal, Full Brembo discs, calipers and master cylinder, The best, Now on to fix an oil leak on the Red/Black 500, shift arm seal is leaking, Then fix the gearbox in the other RG500 and get that finished.....

Just turned 1100 miles today on her, Running like a champ, Out for a run up to Alice's restaurant up in the mountains in Woodside with my Eldest son on his Triumph Triple and John on his Harley, That damn Harley is a beast!!! Great roads up and from there, A lot of bikes out today and the usual Super Cars on show,
