Seems so many issues with the RZ design compared to the RG. RZ pipes have the fattest part of the pipe at the worst location for ground clearance. It makes sense why the serpentine cross over lower design is the best option as shown on the Factory YZR500.

The Horizontal lower cylinders on the RZ500, similar placement to a V-twin 250's lower Cylinder, are a problem design wise. My NSR250sp Nikons are an extreme solution to this issue. So much so that the lower cylinder's pipe actually goes forward to keep the fat sections under the bike. This results in only the stinger passing by the rearset area, similar to on an RG500. Maximum ground clearance is the result.

Can't you just copy and paste the text and paste it into a reply here? Be sure to put it in quotes and reference BT.

I thought the posted pic was the 250 nikon pipes, with the dirtbikeish pipe on the left showing the effort to alter overall length for clearance.

Because they are NSR250 pipes.

Thank you. We never saw the pipes in question. I have seen pipes from Japan for the RZV500. The rear pipes cross over as well as the front ones

Giron , Someone else said, not once, but twice now: Slow down and read: it said NIKON PIPES NSR250sp

These are my Turfrey RZ500 GP style Pipes. I believe they are for stock swingarm, now that I unpacked them to see what I actually bought.

I am sure he has made several different configurations, as I am certain he made them. Unless, of course, a Boeing 777 Captain can't be trusted.

Thank you for the clarification. I had a set of turfrey pipes. I sold them since the rear body work would not fit. I’ll ask Brian and I’ll see if I can find the pipes he did for me

These JL gp style pipes seem to be a little more tucked in than the Jolly's, but just an observation. Could they be slightly narrower like the Turfrey pipes? Anyone own a set of these JL pipes?

Comparison: Turfrey to Jolly Moto. It appears my Turfrey pipes will work with stock rear side panels. Note the shorter centreline length, and big difference in section sizes.

Here are the pipes that Brian did for me. The rear panels had to be modified. I try to find seat panels or someone to alter the bodywork and I had no luck. I hope you have better luck.

Mine are much narrower and significantly different. Anyone who can offer an assessment of mine in comparison? I was told they are for a ported engine.
