IT'S ALIVE!

#1 Post by lost1750GTV » Fri Jul 19, 2019 12:15 pm

I shall see if my pics show up - but I'm pretty excited as it runs on 4, isn't leaking gas, sounds good, and makes it down my driveway and back!
never rode one before, but off the bat/1st gear straight only,. It reminds me more of my TZ250's than the RD350LC, which makes me happy.

I legally imported into the US , but am a little nervous about registering in MA.

well the pics don't work, but nothing you guys haven't seen before. standard jolly motos , K&N kit from Bill Wilson not installed yet, otherwise a plain jane stocker without the bodywork installed.

it is a great feeling - I "bought" it based on a vid of a proper running bike, but after an all day drive ended up coming home with a reduced price based on a bike that was on 2 and pissing gas all over.
so nice to find it wasn't a total lump as it pretty much has been the past year, and actually starts readily, moves under it's own power, and does seem to be what I hoped they were - so worth making it what I want it to be.

Sounds like mine when I bought it. First job was to get the frame powdercoated 😩.

aahh, I can't upload direct from my phone - and the copy/paste from elsewhere didn't work either.
